The Venerable Gyatrul Rinpoche founded Orgyen Dorje Den in 1978 as a place of refuge in the San Francisco Bay Area for the study and practice of Tibetan Buddhism. Since that time, students have maintained a practice facility, and now, thanks to an initial donation from a sponsor, we have purchased a wonderful building in Alameda, which we will develop into a permanent and stable resource for the Bay Area Buddhist Community. Special Vajrasattva Practice for HH Penor Rinpoche's Parinirvana

Following the passing of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche, Ven. Gyatrul Rinpoche asks that students do Vajrasattva practice and make butter lamp offerings.

Every FRIDAY, starting April 3rd, and continuing for 7 weeks, we will do Vajrasattva practice. Practice will start at 7pm and end around 9-9:30pm.

The ODD Sangha will be joined by many Bay Area Tibetans who come from near Holiness' monastery and other areas, as well as Bay Area lamas and monks.

Gyatrul Rinpoche says that "it's due to Holiness' blessings that we can all come together and pray" . . . so please join us!
